Nairobi Singles

Community Guidelines

Draft, not final. This page is structured placeholder content for development purposes. It has not been reviewed by legal counsel and will be replaced with the real text before public launch.

Nairobi Singles exists to help people form genuine, respectful connections. These guidelines describe the behaviour we expect from everyone on the platform.

Be genuine

Use your real name and real, recent photos. Represent yourself honestly — your intentions, age, and who you are. Fake and duplicate profiles are removed.

Be respectful

Treat other users the way you'd want to be treated. Disagreements happen, but harassment, hate speech, threats, and abusive language have no place here.

No spam or solicitation

Don't use Nairobi Singles to sell products or services, promote other apps or social accounts, or run scams. Requests for money — from anyone, for any reason — are a red flag; report them immediately.

No explicit or unsolicited content

Sexually explicit photos or messages sent without consent are not tolerated.

One account, adults only

One account per person. You must be 18 or older to use Nairobi Singles — accounts found to belong to a minor are removed immediately.

Consequences

Violating these guidelines can result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on severity. Serious violations (e.g. threats, underage users, fraud) are removed on sight.

If something's wrong, report it

Every profile, match, and conversation has a Report option. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team — see our Safety Guidelines for how to stay safe and what to do if something feels wrong.
