How Premium Payments Work on Nairobi Singles
Nairobi Singles Premium is paid for via M-Pesa Paybill, verified by a real person rather than an automated system for now. Here's exactly what that process looks like from your side.
Step 1 — Choose a plan
From the Premium page, pick the length of access that suits you — pricing and duration are always shown clearly before you pay, since these can change over time and we'd rather you see the real current price than trust a number written somewhere else.
Step 2 — Pay via Paybill
You'll see the Paybill business number and account reference to use. Open M-Pesa, go to Lipa na M-Pesa, select Paybill, and enter the details exactly as shown. This part happens entirely within M-Pesa — we never see or store your PIN or any other payment credentials.
Step 3 — Submit your transaction code
After paying, you'll get an M-Pesa confirmation message with a transaction code. Enter that code, along with the phone number you paid from, into the form on the Premium page.
Step 4 — Verification, not instant activation
This is the part worth understanding clearly: submitting your transaction code does not activate Premium immediately. A real person checks the code against our actual M-Pesa records before access turns on — usually within a few hours. This exists specifically so that a mistyped code, a genuine mismatch, or an attempted scam gets caught before anyone gets incorrectly charged or credited, rather than trusting an automated system that could be fooled.
If something doesn't match
If a payment can't be verified — wrong amount, code not found, or similar — it's rejected with a plain-language reason, and you're free to submit a new payment. Nothing about this process is automatic in a way that could silently take your money without giving you real access in return.
